A former physical education teacher, West Virginia native Reno Collier has endeared himself to a wide range of audiences from college students to church softball teams. With a contagious laugh and friendly demeanor, Collier's observations often recall mishaps of his West Virginia cousins, his Scottish heritage, unruly in-laws and alien abductions.
Collier will stop at the Comedy Catch tonight through Sunday, Nov. 16-19. Show time tonight and Sunday is 7:30 p.m., when tickets are $10. Friday and Saturday nights' shows are at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. Tickets are $16.
The comedian joined Larry The Cable Guy on the successful 2004 Tour of America, and has also toured with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White. In 2005 and 2006, Collier headlined the "Comics on Duty" tour for American troops stationed in Iraq. He is a regular fixture on syndicated radio and Country Music Television, hosting various specials for the network.
