Chattanooga Now Registration needed for May 17 Painting for a Purpose

"May Flora," shown, is the make-and-take project at the next Painting For a Purpose fundraiser at the 6th Cavalry Museum on Barnhardt Circle in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. The class will be held Thursday, May 17. Artist Coyee Shipp Langston will lead the painting class from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Class fee is $40, which includes appetizers, canvas, painting supplies and instruction. Guests are encouraged to bring the adult beverage of their choice and an apron or old shirt to protect their clothing. Registration is required.
