Fazoli's plans to keep its Stimulus Package as a savings option for customers devoted to fresh, delicious Italian-style recipes.
"Until the economy straightens out, the Stimulus Package is staying up there," says Ken Szostek, key operator for the restaurant chain's locations in East Brainerd, Cleveland and Fort Oglethorpe. "I still don't feel that our economy is where it needs to be."
The Stimulus Package includes a variety of specials such as the fettuccine Alfredo with the restaurant's famous breadsticks for $3.99 on Mondays. Tuesday is Kid's Night from 5-8 p.m., with a 99- cents kid's meal with any adult entrée along with supervised crafts, games, contests and an occasional appearance from Tony Tomato. Thursday brings the pizza pasta sampler for $3.99 - a half-order of spaghetti and meat sauce, fettucini Alfredo and a slice of pizza.
The Saturday classic sampler is 3.99 for a half-order of spaghetti with meat sauce, fettuccine Alfredo and meat lasagna. The baked spaghetti is available for $3.99 every day.
"This spring Fazoli's will introduce new baked spaghetti recipes," Szostek says. "It will stay $3.99, but we'll offer additional toppings that can be added for a small cost."
Baked spaghetti is a guest favorite prepared with spaghetti noodles topped with marinara and a blend of mozzarella and provolone cheeses that is then baked to a golden perfection. The new entrées will have a couple different toppings such as the sausage and peppers baked spaghetti with caramelized sliced Italian sausage, peppers and onions with crushed red pepper. There will also be a cheesy meatball baked spaghetti with meatballs and provolone cheese slices, and a garlic chicken baked spaghetti with chicken tenders, mushrooms and broccoli drizzled with garlic butter.
