Local restaurants are partnering with Chattanooga CARES to support the fight against HIV on Wednesday, June 21, when Dining Out for Life is held.

Participation is as easy as just going out to eat. Each of the participating restaurants will donate a percentage of its sales that day to support Chattanooga CAREs' nutrition assistance program. These proceeds will be dedicated to purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables for the CARES market.

Nearly two dozen restaurants will participate in the Wednesday night fundraiser. All except five are located in the downtown/Riverview/North Shore/Southside areas.

The exceptions include two Amigo restaurants, one in Red Bank, the other on Highway 58; Ceniza, which is in Cambridge Square in Ooltewah; University Pizza and Deli, near the UTC campus; and 1885 in St. Elmo.
