If you're headed out to a Lookouts game or a day of fun in the sun on the Tennessee River, stop on the way for a taste of summertime at Track's End. Owners Julie and Shelby Hudson are offering some of their classics for customers to enjoy.

"We're doing our hefty chili and slaw hot dogs," Julie said, adding that diners can choose their favorite American sides. "We also have lots of citrus packed into our desserts and more."

If something lighter for lunch is on your mind, the restaurant offers vegetables such as zucchini, squash and tomatoes, as well as a veggie plate featuring any four veggies of your choice and a dinner roll.

On the sweet side, Julie shared that tres leches cake is back paired with delicious tart flavors of the season like kiwi and strawberries. And of course, Track's End's classic banana pudding and other favorites make it easy and tasty to beat the heat outside.

Fish Fridays continues to be the special of choice for all the restaurant's regulars. It features classic fried catfish served in either a plate option of five pieces of fish, two hush puppies, fries and coleslaw for $8.99 or an all-you-can-eat portion for an additional $2 with all the same great fixings.

"All of our hush puppies are homemade, and we make our own batter for all the fish, which are also hand-battered," Julie said.

Patrons can enjoy the entire Track's End menu all day, every day featuring a wide variety of meals ranging from comfort foods, such as meat and potatoes, to more heart-healthy choices like chef salad. Specials through the week are available until they sell out.

Guests should feel free to stop by and dine in anytime, or call ahead for their favorite takeout orders to grab on the way home.
