One of the hottest acts in Southern gospel music will stop Saturday at the Tivoli Theatre.

The Collingsworth Family, composed of Phil and Kim Collingsworth and their four children, will introduce Chattanooga audiences to their musical ministry. Opening act will be Voices Won, a trio of brothers from Dalton, Ga.

The Collingsworth Family has been featured on the Gaither Homecoming Tour, and they are up for numerous prizes in this year's Singing News fan awards, said show promoter Paul Belcher.

"They have great harmony, and Kim Collingsworth, the mom of this clan, has been praised as the greatest piano player to walk onstage in Southern gospel music," he said.

Phil, who plays trumpet, and Kim first performed together as musicians in a church camp in Petersburg, Mich., in August 1986. They entered full-time concert ministry in January 2000 and have sung and played all over the United States and abroad.

They are joined onstage by daughters Brooklyn, who turns 21 on Thursday, Courtney, 19, and Olivia, 12, as well as son Phillip, 16. Brooklyn and Courtney play violin at each concert. The whole family sings as an ensemble, though most of the program features trio vocals by Phil, Kim and Brooklyn.

Their latest project is "The Answer," which includes their 13th radio single, "Fear Not Tomorrow."
