Choo Choo Kids debut road show Tuesday

The Choo Choo Kids, a song-and-dance troupe of musical-theater students at Center for Creative Arts, will unveil their new road show Tuesday night at the performing arts school, 1301 Dallas Road.

The road show is the Kids' annual musical revue used to entertain at civic-organization luncheons and other events where they are the featured program. This year's theme is "One Day You'll Beg for My Autograph." It features songs from "Memphis, "A Chorus Line," "Sister Act," "Shrek" and other musicals.

Lindsay Fussell choreographed the show; staging and musical direction is by Jason Whitehead, Choo Choo Kids director.

The Kids are offering dinner and a show Tuesday, at which fans will enjoy dinner at 6 p.m. catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill followed by a performance of the show at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for dinner and show. Reservations are required and must be made by noon Monday. Call 209-5937.

Tickets for the show only are $5 and may be purchased at the door on Tuesday night while seats remain.
