Fans of contemporary Christian music have a new venue to hear local singer/songwriters perform.
The White Dove Café offers acoustic music in an adult, coffeehouse atmosphere each month in Collegedale Community Church, 4995 Swinyar Drive on the hill overlooking Collegedale City Hall.
Performances are scheduled 7-9 p.m. today. Light refreshments will be served.
"White Dove Café gives us a chance to share with fellow Christian believers music and thoughts, mixed with fellowship, as the weekend hours approach," said Jentry Tillman, one of the hosts for the monthly event.
Musicians interested in performing are asked to call the church office at 396-5464.
