Flatpicker Tyler Grant brings band to Riverfront Nights

The Grant Farm, led by 2009 world flatpicking champion Tyler Grant, headlines this week's Riverfront Nights concert Saturday at Ross's Landing.

In addition to being a versatile guitarist, Grant is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed around the world with such musical heavyweights as Tony Rice, Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band and the String Cheese Incident.

He was a member of the Drew Emmitt Band and later the Emmitt-Nershi Band, before teaming with drummer Chris Misner, bassist Adrian Engfer and keyboardist Sean Foley in his own band.

Riverfront Nights is a free concert series that features music and local businesses and organizations that focus on healthy living and outdoor activities available in the area.

THEME NIGHTS

Riverfront Nights spotlights more than music. Each concert also will have a tie-in with healthy living, conservation, sustainable development, love of the outdoors or animal welfare. Featured will be:
