Chattanooga Now Music Explosion concludes at Lee University

The final night of Music Explosion 2012 at Lee University will feature a worship concert tonight by Israel Houghton and New Breed, along with Voices of Lee. The concert starts at 7 p.m. in Conn Center on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

The three-day conference, which started Wednesday, is designed to offer instruction and inspiration for church musicians. It is presented by Church of God Music Ministries, part of the Division of Discipleship at International Offices, based in Cleveland. Day sessions have been held at North Cleveland Church of God.

Israel Houghton and New Breed recently added to their numerous awards with a 2011 Grammy for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album ("Love God. Love People").

The Voices of Lee have appeared on "Good Morning America" and Bill Gaither's video series. They have toured Europe with concerts at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and England's Ely Cathedral as well as Christmas at the White House. Most recently, they have appeared on NBC's 'The Sing-Off" competition for a cappella groups, finishing as second runner-up.

Tickets are $10 for students, $15 for all others.
