The Side Street Strutters, who have entertained at Disneyland for the past 25 years, will bring their newest show to Cleveland, Tenn., on Tuesday, Feb. 26. "Shiny Stockings," according to the group, captures "the charm and vibrant energy of the golden age of jazz."

The Side Street Strutters formed in 1983 while several in the group were attending Arizona State University. Their focus centered on the musical traditions of early New Orleans jazz. Thirty years later, the same core members are still together and have expanded their repertoire to include more than a half-century of jazz styles, from Dixieland and blues to big-band swing and popular standards. Their concerts showcase beautifully crafted arrangements, colorful costumes and tap dancing.

"Shiny Stockings" features vocalist Meloney Collins, who has sung with Burt Bacharach, John Tesh and Julie Andrews. Among the featured selections are "Sing, Sing, Sing," "Caravan," "Stardust" and "Don't Get Around Much Anymore."

The concert is sponsored by the Cleveland-Bradley Concert Association. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $25. However, a $35 ticket also will grant admission to the association's season-ending show, "The Legacy of Floyd Cramer," as presented by his grandson, Jason Coleman, on April 25.
