Back Home Anniversary Concert in South Pittsburg (June 8)

Award-winning gospel group Back Home will be back home in Marion County, Tenn., on Saturday, June 8, for an anniversary concert at the Princess Theatre in South Pittsburg.

Special guests are Gordon Mote, Bishop Tim Hill, Monty Lane Allen and Don Poythress.

Originally a duo, Back Home features husband-and-wife Jimmy and Jennifer Layne, who were longtime session singers before forming their ministry. Early this year, Jennifer's cousin Stacy Pearcy of Rainsville, Ala., joined the group.

Back Home was named the Fan Fair Duo of the Year by the Southern Gospel Music Association in 2010 and was nominated for SGMA Fan Fair Duo of the Year in 2011 and 2013.

The group also was nominated for Absolutely Gospel Music's Fan Favorite Artist of the Year award for 2013.
