Ever wondered where songwriters get their inspiration?

Four area songwriters will share back stories to their original songs when Songwriter's Night is held Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. in Heritage House on the grounds of Heritage Park in East Brainerd.

Cathy Wilson, Noah Collins, Earl Brakin and Anthony Quails will play an intimate concert consisting entirely of original material in the parlor of Heritage House at 7 p.m. It's the December installment of the monthly programs presented by Chattanooga Songwriters Association in Heritage House.

This event is free and sponsored by Chattanooga Department of Youth & Family Development, the Chattanooga Songwriters Association and the staff of Heritage House.

Arrive early for light refreshments from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with the songwriters over a cup of coffee.

Beginning in January, Songwriter's Night will move to the second Thursday of each month at Heritage House, still 7-9 p.m.
