Tom Shinness at The Camp House

Tom Shinness will bring his remarkable instrumental prowess, along with a 100-year-old, 16-string Martin harp guitar, to The Camp House, 1427 Williams St., on Tuesday, May 14, for an evening of mesmerizing tunes.

Shinness plays a variety of instruments, all of them well. You've likely never seen anyone play the cello like he does.

His eye-catching harp guitar is a true antique, but it's more than a museum piece, and his presentation is far from a typical concert-hall experience.

He knows how to entertain a crowd, and does so with a mix of familiar tunes and originals.

Singer/songwriter Mark Kelly Hall, a native of the Chattanooga area, will open at 7 p.m.

Admission is $10. For more information, call 423-702-8081.
