10 THINGS YOU DON"T KNOW ABOUT KIP MOOREThe singer answers 10 open-ended question.1. My preshow ritual is ... shot of Jack Daniels.2. My favorite song to perform is ... "Crazy One More Time." It's a song embedded in me. It's the most personal thing I could possibly write, so I connect with that song more than any other.3. The song I wish I'd written is ... "Sunday Morning Comin' Down," by Kris Kristofferson.4. After a show I like to ... sit in silence for a good 10 minutes.5. If a woman wants to get my attention, she should ... be comfortable in her own skin. Don't try to be somebody else.6. The funniest thing a fan has done ... was throw her bra at me. It hit me in the face. It had her phone number inside. I remember getting a good laugh out of that.7. If I weren't a singer, I'd be ... a surf bum.8. I never eat ... tofu.9. I always expect my friends to ... have my back.10. This Track 29 show will be different from the February show in McKenzie Arena because ... I'm going to tear the roof off the place!

Don't be surprised if a guy drops to one knee and proposes to his date while Kip Moore's onstage at Track 29 on Saturday night, May 18.

The marriage question's being popped frequently at his shows since his romantic current single, "Hey Pretty Girl" hit the airwaves.

"It's happened several times. One time I let a couple, who I'd met in a meet-and-greet and heard their story, come onstage and dance to the song. Then I got flooded with requests. I had to stop it because, you know, do for one you have to do for them all ... and I just can't let them all do it," said the country star in a phone interview.

He adds he also gets numerous requests on Twitter to fly in for proposal performances as well.

"I want the song to be about what it's about and the performance. I want the song to speak to whoever is out there ... so the people have their own moment in the crowd."

"Hey Pretty Girl" is Moore's third hit off "Up All Night," following "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" and "Beer Money." The song was inspired by a conversation with his guitarist during the band's struggling days before "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" burnt up the charts.

"We'd been touring for years and weren't making any money. My guitar player, who is my closest friend, had a baby on the way and said he was going to have to quit. He said he believed in me but needed a steady job to support the baby.

"It moved me. I couldn't imagine anything that could make me quit playing music ... it sounded like a powerful thing. So I wrote it from a sense of what I hoped to have one day."

Moore says the guitarist stayed and the band got it's big break with the success of "Truck" just a couple of months later.

The singer said he's finished eight tracks on his sophomore CD, which he projects will be out the first of 2014.

Until then, fans will have plenty of chances to see him in addition to this weekend's show at Track 29. He's touring with Toby Keith all summer and will also be in Orlando, Fla., on July 6 to play the Universal Studios summer concert series.

Concertgoers Saturday night can get a Riverbend sneak peek. Joining Moore will be Drake White, who opens for Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Coca-Cola Stage at Riverbend on June 13.
