Five bands are in the lineup for the Linsdale Bluegrass Festival set for Saturday, June 1, at the Linsdale Community Service Center in Polk County, Tenn.
Set to perform are Third Degree, Just Us, Reliance, By the Way and Faith Willin'. The show starts at noon and continues through 9 p.m. The building is covered, so the show will take place rain or shine.
Concessions will include barbecue chicken plates, barbecue sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pinto beans and homemade desserts.
Admission is $5, with children under 12 admitted free. Hookups are $10 per night; free camping in the rough. The center has restrooms and showers. No alcohol or drugs are permitted on-site.
All proceeds benefit Fire Hall No. 7.
The spring festival is one of two held each year at the Linsdale center. The second is set for Saturday, Aug. 24.
To reach the festival site from Chattanooga, take I-75 North to the Charleston exit to U.S. Highway 11 and go north toward Highway 163. Turn right onto Highway 163 and follow the signs.
