Audrey Assad leads U-Church at Lee - Oct. 27

The Lee University U-Church season will continue with Christian artist Audrey Assad at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Conn Center. Assad is a musician, singer and songwriter whose musical influences range from Paul Simon to Jack White. She was signed to Christian record label Sparrow Records for four years until she began her independent career in 2011. Her latest album, "Fortunate Fall," was released in August. Financed through a fan-based fundraising campaign, the album has songs for liturgy, personal prayer and corporate worship. U-Church is a free, nonticketed event.
