Colbie Caillat, a two-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 6 million albums and more than 10 million singles worldwide, has sold out this year's StarNight concert, a black-tie gala benefiting Siskin Children's Institute. The institute's largest fundraiser, StarNight is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Proceeds help the nonprofit organization provide services to more than 1,500 special-needs children and their families each year. ¦ She burst onto the scene in 2007 with the double-platinum album "CoCo" and followed up with radio-friendly hits "Bubbly" and "Realize" before recording the Grammy-winning duet "Lucky" with Jason Mraz.

¦ Her second album, "Breakthrough," was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2010 Grammy Awards, and she was part of the group that won Album of the Year for her background vocals and writing on Taylor Swift's album "Fearless."

¦ In June, she surprised the music world with the unexpected release of her new EP, "Gypsy Heart - Side A." It immediately charted on iTunes Top 40, and a lyric video for the first single, "Try," became a viral sensation with cameos from Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, among others.

¦ Since then, the official video for "Try" has become a focal point in the national conversation about female self-image in an age of Photoshop and glamour magazines. Throughout the video, Caillat and a diverse group of women gradually remove their makeup on-camera in a statement meant to take the focus off unrealistic beauty standards and remind women to be true to themselves.

¦ She recently contributed a new song, "The Way I Was," to the soundtrack for "The Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season" companion LP, "Songs of Survival, Vol. 2." Caillat told Idolator that she and her boyfriend "love the show" and how the music it uses brings "emotion to every scene."
