SharBaby, an Alabama-based blues artist, will perform in the next installment of the Kamama Music Series today, Feb. 20, at Kamama Gallery, 5951 state Highway 117 in Mentone, Ala. Maxwell Russell will be featured on guitar and harp. Known for her good-time, soulful take on the genre, SharBaby was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in San Francisco in 2012 and won three International Blues Awards from the Indie Music Channel the same year: Best Blues Song, Best Blues Band and Best Blues Live Performance. Her "11 O'Clock Blues" was nominated for Album of the Year. She picked up another award from the Hollywood, Calif-based group in 2013 for Best Blues Song of the Year for "Busted."
