Riverbend added some blues and funk to its lineup with the additions of guitarist Buddy Guy and the Bernie Worrell Orchestra. Both Guy and Worrell are inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

According to Riverbend talent and production coordinator Joe "Dixie" Fuller, Guy will headline on the main Coca-Cola Stage on Sunday, June 8. Worrell will perform on the Bud Light Stage on Saturday, June 7.

Guy helped invent and define Chicago style blues throughout his career as a solo artist, in addition to playing with Muddy Waters as a member of his band and as a house guitarist at Chess Records. Rolling Stone ranks him No. 30 on its 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

"Plus, he's mentored some incredible people like [guitarist] Scott Holt. He is an incredible guitar player," Fuller says. "He's been on our to-do list for awhile."

Worrell is a multi-instrumentalist who provided the bass line to such Parliment-Funkadelic hits as "Flashlight" and "One Nation Under A Groove" and the piano runs on "Chocolate City," "Atomic Dog," "Cosmic Slop" and "Give Up The Funk." He performed with Talking Heads on their live "Stop Making Sense" concert film, as well as on earlier albums "The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads" and "Speaking in Tongues."

He's played with everyone from rapper Snoop Dog to Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes to the Rolling Stones' Keith Richards.

"He's done some incredible stuff and, if we can get Chattanooga in the groove of knowing when it comes to knowing who he is, it will be an incredible show," Fuller says.

The festival is scheduled for June 6-14.

Previously announced acts are jam band favorites Widespread Panic on June 7; Robert Randolph and the Family Band on June 8; Christian act TobyMac on June 10; country artists Gary Allan on June 6, Justin Moore on June 12, Clare Dunn on June 8 and Dan + Shay on June 7. Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett of Little Feat, playing with the New Orleans Suspects, are scheduled on June 12.
