The Metropolitan Bells, an advanced community handbell ensemble, will present their spring concert, "Music From the Silver Screen," in three area performances.
Directed by Gary Bynum, the 15 auditioned ringers perform on seven octaves of Malmark bells and seven octaves of Malmark choir chimes.
The group was established in 1993 and led for 10 years by Ken Cochrane.
Performances are tonight, April 28, at Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road; Tuesday, May 3, at Grove Level Baptist Church, 2802 Cleveland Highway in Dalton, Ga.; and Thursday, May 5, at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road.
All performances start at 7:30 p.m.
