Glen Templeton brings his country music (and a little of Conway's) to Calhoun, Ga.
Glen Templeton, whose Nashville resume ranges from honky-tonks (Tootsie's) to country music cathedrals (Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium), will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Gem Theatre, 114 N. Wall St. in Calhoun, Ga.
In addition to performing in the ACM's All-Star Jam, Country Jam USA and other barnstormer tours, the Alabama native was hand-picked by Conway Twitty's daughters to portray the musical icon in a tribute tour in 2008, and he opened for George Jones in early 2009.
Tickets are $25 reserved, $30 with a meet-and-greet with Templeton.
