The Palace Theatre hosts 'Red, White & Bluegrass' benefit concert

Jerry Butler will present "Red, White & Bluegrass" on Saturday, June 24, at 7 p.m. CDT in The Palace Theatre, 72 S. Main St., Crossville, Tenn.

Butler began performing bluegrass at age 12 with the Knoxville Newgrass Boys.

He currently plays in Dollywood with the Smoky Mountain String Band, which was nominated in 2015 for International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions' most entertaining live show.

He was inducted in 2016 into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame, has made appearances on PBS series "Song of the Mountains" and for the past 11 years has been a performer on a variety of bluegrass cruises.

Tickets are $15, and proceeds will support the Christian Counseling Center of Cumberland County.
