The Cleveland Orchestra of Tennessee will explore "The Friendship of Brahms and Dvorak" in its third concert of the season, set for Saturday, March 4, at Cleveland State Community College.

Led by music director/conductor Sarah Pearson, the ensemble will perform Brahms' Academic Festival Overture, Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 and Weber's Clarinet Concerto No. 1, featuring principal clarinet David D. Dunn.

Dunn, who also plays saxophone and recorder, spent most of his life as an active freelance musician in New York City. He has played on several Broadway musical productions and with multiple orchestras and opera companies.

Since moving to the area three years ago, he has performed with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera and other area orchestras and has taught in several area schools, including Cleveland State Community College, Girls Preparatory School, Baylor School and McCallie School. He and his wife own Southside Studio, a teaching studio and intimate performing venue in Chattanooga.

The concert will be at the George R. Johnson Cultural Center Theater at Cleveland State Community College. Admission is free but donations of $10-$15 are appreciated and needed to help support the orchestra.
