The Hamilton County Ramblers are tuning up for the second concert in Creative Arts Guild's Roots Music Series.

The Ramblers will play in Jonas Hall of the Guild's facility, 520 W. Waugh St. in Dalton, Ga., at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10.

Hamilton County Ramblers is a Chattanooga-based bluegrass band that offers its take on traditional as well as original bluegrass music. Members include James Kee on mandolin and lead vocals, John Boulware on fiddle, Josh Hixon on bass, award-winning flat-picking guitarist Roy Curry and Chatsworth, Ga., native Jim Pankey on banjo.

Kee's tune, "Must Have Been Crazy," from the band's self-titled debut album made it to No.2 on both the bluegrass and XM Radio charts.

"We are very fortunate to have such talented artists so close to our hometown," says Charlsey Etheridge, Roots Music Series coordinator.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for senior citizens and students with valid ID. Groups of six or more should contact the Guild to reserve a table.

For more information or to purchase tickets online, go to www.creative artsguild.org, or call 615-838-3930. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
