Mark Kelly HallEase into the holiday season with a visit to the Casual Pint on Friday, Nov. 24, where Mark Kelly Hall will deliver a special holiday-infused blend of Americana originals and favorites, along with a parody or two.
The music will start at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Hall has played an impressive variety of venues from the Riverbend Festival and Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, to a kindergarten in Minsk, Belarus, a college in Hawaii and a church in Cape Town, Africa.
Hailing from Cleveland, Tenn., and now based in Nashville, Hall addresses topics such as love, faith and the 1970s. His songs reflect the spiritual heritage of the Bible-belt South, combined with his lifelong fascination with American pop culture, all seasoned by experiences in places far from his native Tennessee.
His style recalls James Taylor or Jim Croce, and his presentation is flavored with congeniality, personal insight and a touch of country blues.
