To preview the next generation of Chattanooga stars, stop by the Barnett & Company Sunday Showcase on Oct. 22, sponsored by the Performing Arts League Inc.

Sunday Showcase will feature a variety of performances by young artists in dance, instrumental music, vocal performance and theater. These school-age rising artists will perform with the school or nonprofit organizations that are training and developing their talent.

Performing Sunday will be Ballet Tennessee, Barger Academy of Fine Arts Movement Makers, Chattanooga Ballet, Chattanooga Girls Choir, CSO Youth Orchestras, Christian Family Theater, Chattanooga Theatre Centre Youth Theatre, Civic Ballet of Chattanooga and East Lake Academy of Fine Arts Band.

Proceeds from the show benefit the Performing Arts League's ongoing advocacy for young artists. PAL has made donations to fund private lesson tuition, college scholarships, summer camp fees, band uniforms and purchase instruments in support os local arts programs for youth.

The showcase will begin at 3:30 p.m. in UTC's Fine Arts Center. Allan Ledford and Steve Ray will serve as show co-directors.
