Tomar and the FCs, a soul band from Austin, Texas, will headline Nightfall on Friday, Aug. 3, in Miller Plaza, 850 Market St. R&B singer Tomar Williams is the frontman for this band that was picked by NPR Music in 2016 out of hundreds of Austin entries to represent the city in NPR's Tiny Desk Concert Series.
The band has released two albums: 2015's "Day by Day" and 2016's "Heart Attack."
Neshawn Calloway will open the free concert at 7 p.m. before Tomar and the FCs come on at 8.
