You haven't officially celebrated Valentine's Day until Jim Brickman plays "Valentine," the No. 1 single from his "Picture This" album.

And that moment will surely be a highlight of his concert Friday night, Feb. 16, when the composer returns to town for "An Evening of Romance" in Walker Theatre.

Brickman will spread the love as he spends an evening playing his popular love songs. Joining him will be guests Anne Cochran and John Trones.

With a career than spans more than 20 years, Brickman has become the most-charted Adult Contemporary artist and best-selling solo pianist to date.

His composing and keyboard skills have earned him 21 No. 1 albums and 32 Top 20 Radio Singles. He's earned two Grammy nominations, a Dove Award, two SESAC Songwriter of the Year Awards, and the Canadian Country Music Award. He hosts a nationally syndicated weekend radio show, "The Jim Brickman Show," that includes celebrity interviews and entertainment scoop from Hollywood.

"I write music to be shared - to soothe, to inspire, to celebrate, to love. To me, music is the pure and simple soundtrack to life's most memorable moments," says the artist.
