Flute choir performs free concert at North River Civic Center

The Chattanooga Area Flute Society's flute choir will present its first concert of 2018 in a free program at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at the North River Civic Center, 1009 Executive Drive.

Joining them will be Dexter Bell on string bass.

The choir is conducted by Nora Kile, assisted by Sandy Morris.

Music will include original works for flute choir plus arrangements of audience favorites such as "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."
