Two outdoor music concerts are scheduled at the Museum Center at Five Points this weekend: one, an evening of jazz music under the stars; the second, an old-fashioned red-back hymnal singing complete with dinner on the grounds.

The Nathan Warner Quartet featuring Naja Wilson will headline Music Under the Stars Thursday, June 7, at the museum in Cleveland, Tennessee. The event begins at 6 p.m.

Warner, a professor at Lee University, has performed with Clay Aiken, Slide Hampton, Patti LuPone, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Olivia Newton-John, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and The Glenn Miller Orchestra, to name a few. He performs regularly as a classical, orchestral, commercial, big band and jazz artist in New York City, where he lived for 15 years. He has played on multiple Broadway shows.

Tickets are $30 for museum members, $45 nonmembers. The admission includes four wine-tasting tickets. An additional five tastings are available for $25. Advance registration is encouraged since previous Music Under the Stars concerts have sold out.

The museum is celebrating the opening of its Red Back Hymnal Exhibit with an old-fashioned dinner on the grounds Sunday, June 10, complete with a red-back hymnal singing led by Jack Clark.

Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch, folding chairs or blankets and their red-back hymnals if they have one and spend the afternoon enjoying group singing as well as entertainment by a dozen Cleveland-area musical acts. Tea, water, napkins and utensils will be provided.

The event will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and guests may stay the entire time or come and go as needed. The new exhibit will be open for guests to view. In the event of rain, the program will move inside the center.

Local entertainment during the afternoon will include The Branams, Westmore Church of God Men's Trio, First Baptist Church Trio, the Purifory Family, Andrea Dismukes, Cy Harris and the First Baptist Church Men's Quartet.

Also, the Senior Classics Choir of Cleveland, Yvonne McKinzie, North Cleveland Church of God ensemble, Kevin Mendel and Family and Jack Clark.
