One of the Chattanooga Lookouts' most popular promotions is coming up Saturday as the home team takes on the Birmingham Barons at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley.
Used Car Night, sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, will award several previously loved vehicles to lucky ticketholders.
Which cars are coming is up to area auto dealers, according to Peter C. Intza, director of media relations for the Lookouts.
"It's all a complete surprise," he said earlier this week. "We don't know (or the TVFCU) until the dealerships drop off the cars on the day of the event."
Even so, the chance to go home with new (to them) wheels draws one of the largest crowds of the season.
The Lookouts are midway into a five-game series against the Barons. The Lookouts will take a break Monday, then return to the field Tuesday for a five-game home stand against the Carolina Mudcats. Most games start at 7:15 p.m. Sunday's will start at 2:15 p.m., and Wednesday's game, the last midday matchup of the season, will start at 11:15 a.m.
General-admission tickets are $4, with $2 discounts for seniors and children. Box seats are $8 and $5.
