Get a haircut, buy veggies at Chattanooga Market this Sunday

Chattanooga Market in First Tennessee Pavilion will be home to eight spa and beauty salons on Sunday, in addition to the usual 100-plus booths offering locally grown produce and handmade crafts.

Cut Up For Life, the annual benefit for Chattanooga CARES, offers visitors the option of a haircut, manicure, makeover or spa service for a flat $20 fee. CARES is the Tennessee Valley's HIV/AIDS resource center.

Participating salons are MAC Cosmetics, JCPenney Salon, Studio 59, Bridge to Health, The Chattanooga Spa, Shane Hamilton, Creative Images and The Hair Lounge.

"It's a great way to sample services from multiple salons, get great deals on some pampering and donate to a good cause as well," said Melissa Siragusa in a news release.

Tickets for spa services are available the day of the market or can be purchased today by calling Chattanooga CARES at 648-9912.
