Spring festival season kicks into high gear

Whether you prefer Volkswagens, MoonPies, do-it-yourself or the scenic beauty of the Sequatchie Valley, there's a festival with something to offer just about anyone this weekend.

Bug-a-Palüza 14, offering everything Volkswagen, is Saturday and Sunday at Camp Jordan in East Ridge. The Red Bank Jubilee Parade/New MoonPie Festival is Saturday at Red Bank City Park. Chatty Crafty, a juried do-it-yourself/indie craft show, will be Saturday and Sunday at the Chattanooga Green at Ross's Landing. And Valley Fest will be Saturday and Sunday in Dunlap, Tenn.

You'll find children's activities at all four, food at all four, car shows at all but Chatty Crafty, music at all but Bug-a-Palüza, crafts at two of the four, and a variety of activities such as bellydancing, a magician, a demonstration of dog agility and a mini drive-in theater among the four.
