Scenic City MiniGolf is offering two kinds of date nights themed to Valentine's Day -- one that entertains adults and another that entertains the kids.
The special promotions start Saturday with a sweet deal for couples that includes a round of indoor miniature golf and a scoop of Blue Bell ice cream for each. The deal is priced at $12 and is offered daily through Feb. 17. Hours are 1-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sundays and 1-9 p.m. weekdays.
The attraction at 21 E. Seventh St. is also taking reservations for a Parents Night Out, scheduled 6:30-10:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
"Parents can celebrate Valentine's Day and give their kids a fun night out in a safe and secure environment," said business partner Sharon Van Cleave in a news release.
For $25 per child (tax included), children 5 and older can enjoy unlimited mini golf, cheese and pepperoni pizza, bottled soft drinks, ice cream, games, prizes and movies over those four hours.
Space is limited. Reservations require a $5 deposit, which can be made in person or by calling 402-8174.
Scenic City MiniGolf also will be offering a Leap Day special on Feb. 29. Visitors may play for free, but donations will be accepted for 1040 Connections, a group helping to free women from the sex trade in Nepal.
