A summer Friends of the Library book sale has been scheduled "due to a large selection of books," according to Andria Davis of the Chattanooga Public Library.
The 10-day sale starts Saturday at Eastgate Town Center, 5600 Brainerd Road. The final Sunday, July 1, will be half-price day. The final day, July 2, will be a bag sale.
Among adult titles, paperbacks sell for $1 and hardbacks for $2. Children and youth books are 50 cents and $1. Also available are encyclopedias and other sets, audio books, magazines, records and tapes.
Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sundays.
