It's barbecue time again in Soddy-Daisy, where the Red Fez Shrine Club will serve up its 56th annual fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9.
The site is the club's waterfront property at 1503 Lee Pike. Attendants will be stationed at the turnoff to direct drivers to either an eat-in or takeout line.
Boaters should enter at Mile Marker 489.8 on Opossum Creek, the first left after going under the bridge. Dockings will be available with attendants.
Barbecue plates are $7.50 per person. Drinks and desserts, including ice cream, cost extra.
Proceeds are used for activities of the Red Fez Shrine Club and are not tax-deductible as a charitable donation.
