Wrestling events in Dunlap, Jasper - Feb. 15

photo Joe Dorgan, best-known for appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (as Johnny Swinger) and World Wrestling Entertainment (as Johnny Parisi), will challenge Big Heavy for the International Wrestling Federation Tennessee title in an Interactive Pay Per View match to be televised Saturday in Dunlap.

Titles are on the line as two towns in Southeast Tennessee showcase wrestling this weekend.

¦ In Dunlap: International Wrestling Federation Tennessee will host a viewing of the United Independent Wrestling Affiliates' one-year anniversary show on Interactive Pay Per View. The bell rings at 7 p.m. CST Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Sequatchie County Fairgrounds, 103 Heard St.

In the main event, the three former and current UIWA world champions will collide in a four-way elimination match for the UIWA world title. Big Heavy will defend his IWF-TN title against Johnny Swinger, a former superstar of Extreme Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment.

The event also will include tag-team action featuring the Hot Bodies plus other favorite UIWA stars.

¦ In Jasper: Wrestlers will be in the house for the Allied Independent Wrestling Federation's world cruiserweight title tournament on Saturday, Feb. 15. This event, presented in association with YBW Entertainment, is a one-night, 14-man tournament to crown the second AIWF World Cruiserweight Champion.

The card, according to promoters, features Drew Game vs. Toby Farley, Kameron Kade vs. Mikey Watkins, James Anthony vs. Victor Andrews, Tracer X vs. Graham Bell, Danny G vs. Luke Langley, Mikey G vs. Brett Hawkins and Adam Reyes vs. Thomas Cage.

A tag-team gauntlet will include 1st Degree, Jason Jett, David Austin, KC Wolves, Suicide Kings, Young and Reckless, Metal Mulisha and Mid-West Marvels.

A no-disqualification match pits Joshua Cutshall against Eric Michaels.

Tickets are $6, free for children 5 and younger.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the bell at 7 p.m. (all times Central) at the YBW Arena, 204 Pottery St.
