City's Coca-Cola fortunes subject of Historical Association program

"Bottling Gold: Chattanooga's Coca-Cola Fortunes" will be the topic of the Chattanooga Area Historical Association's annual meeting Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, 1400 Market St. The presenter is Ned Irwin, who served as East Tennessee State University's archivist before being appointed to a similar position for Washington County, Tenn. He has 25 years' experience in the field, including a stint at the Chattanooga Public Library. The program, set for 1 to 2 p.m., is free. An optional lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. for $26.
