Repticon boasts spiders, snakes, other exotics - March 29-30

Repticon, the expo that shares reptiles with the world, will return to Chattanooga this weekend with an array of exotic animals, including ball pythons, sand boas, bearded dragons, geckos, turtles and spiders, such as this Chilean rose hair tarantula. In addition to animals, the breeders, vendors and educators will offer everything from cages and feeders to expert advice and hands-on interaction. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Camp Jordan Arena, 323 Camp Jordan Parkway, East Ridge. One-day tickets are $10 for adults, $5 children 5-12. Two-day tickets are $15 and $5. VIP tickets, good for both days plus early entry on Saturday, may be purchased at www.repticon.com/chattanooga.html. The biannual show returns Aug. 9-10.
