Blackbeard Tattoo Co. will celebrate its grand opening with a block party Saturday, May 31, outside its shop at 29 Patten Parkway.
Festivities will include an open car, truck and bike show, starting at 2 p.m., with trophies for the Top 25 entries and a 50/50 drawing.
Music will start at 4 p.m., with Megan Howard, By Order of the Queen, Scarlet Love Conspiracy, Butch Ross, Michael McDade and Josh Driver set to perform. The Chattanooga Pinup Girls also will be featured, and a few pirates may be seen as well.
Local artists and vendors will take part, and there will be face painting and an art area for junior pirates. The Honest Pint will have food and beer available.
Admission is free. Proceeds from the day benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
Owners say this is the first of many events the shop will be doing to support the community and arts.
