The fourth annual Rock-N-Ride event to benefit Hozho Therapeutic Equestrian Services is planned Saturday, May 31, at Mystery Dog Ranch, 975 Wooten Road, Ringgold, Ga. The afternoon will feature live music, food, mule and pony rides, hayrides, silent auction, equestrian vaulting demonstrations, a mounted shooting demonstration and cowboys and cowgirls on hand to entertain guests.

Headlining the day will be country singer Cody McCarver, who will be joined on the lineup by Michael Martin, Tori Martin, Wesley Crider and Project Illumination. The musicians will perform on the front porch of the replica saloon/hotel that is part of a Western town built on the 150-acre ranch.

Hozho is a nonprofit organization that works with special-needs children. "Hozho" is a Navajo philosophical concept that describes an inner state of being. To be in hozho is to be connected to beauty, balance, truth and harmony, according to the organization's website.

Admission is $5 per person, free for kids under 3. Activities start at 3 p.m. Tickets to enjoy the rides during the day are $1 each or 25 for $20.
