The Swinger David Scott will bring his comedy chops to The Comedy Catch, 1400 Market St., this weekend, including two shows on New Year's Eve.
The early show starts at 7:30 p.m. with an $18 admission.
The midnight party show starts at 10 p.m. with a $36 admission. It includes hats, horns, a split of champagne, DJ Raw and dancing until morning.
Scott is known for spectacle as much as stand-up in his shows, which are said to combine the style and cool of a 1960s era Las Vegas performer with the flash and excitement of a 21st-century Super Bowl halftime extravaganza.
Rodney Alan Wiggins also will be appearing.
New Year's Eve tickets also may used for shows Jan. 5-8 with David Winfield. Simply present them as vouchers at the door.
Other showtimes for The Swinger are 7:30 p.m. today, Dec. 29 ($11), 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30 ($16) and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1 ($11).
