Lake Winnepesaukah's Soak Ya Water ParkLake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, 1730 Lakeview Drive in Rossville, adds wonderful, water-full adventures this weekend with the opening of its companion water park.
Now in its fourth season, SoakYa features wild and gentle thrills, including Crazy River, above, which offers rolling waves and geysers to raft or swim through.
Hours opening weekend are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, May 28; 1-7 p.m. Sunday, May 29; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, May 30.
The dry side of the park is also open today and Friday, May 26-27.
Most days, SoakYa opens an hour later than the dry side of the park and closes two to three hours earlier.
SoakYa will last through Labor Day, and admission starting Saturday will cover both wet and dry attractions (no either/or option).
Cost is $33.95 for ages 3-54, $16.95 for ages 1-2 and 55+.
