Three authors are set for book signings this weekend at Star Line Books, 1467 Market St.

First up, on Friday, Sept. 30, is Hannah Rials, a 20-year-old UTC student from Maryville, Tenn., who just had her debut novel, "Ascension," published. The young-adult, fantasy fiction novel is set in New Orleans and centers on teen vampire Cheyenne and her forbidden love, Eli. The signing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m.

Two authors are scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 1.

From noon to 2 p.m., Rosalind Bunn, one of the store's favorite children's book authors, will return to sign copies of her picture books. A Marietta, Ga., resident, Bunn has four titles to her credit: "The Butter Bean Lady," "Sophie May and the Shoe Untying Fairy," "The Monsters Three" and "Whose Shadow Do I See?"

From 2 to 4 p.m., teacher Brooks Benjamin will sign copies of "My Seventh Grade Life in Tights," about a seventh-grade boy juggling his chances of winning a summer dance scholarship with his dad's expectations of football and his freestyle dance crew's disdain of formal instruction.
