Dalton Ghost Tours made the call and the Tennessee Ghostbusters answered.

In full costume, with proton packs on their backs and their giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in tow, Adam Hehnen, Rebeka Moore, Philip Clark, Jayne Gavisk, Steve Blacklock, Amy Blacklock, Jeff Lester and Katie Lester will cruise into Dalton, Ga., in their Soul Collector and Ugly Spud vehicles on Friday-Saturday, Aug. 4-5.

They'll join guests at Dalton Ghost Tour both days for a meet-and-greet then ghost walk of sites alleged to be haunted in Dalton.

"Come ready to have a lot of fun," says Dalton Ghost Tour operator and guide Connie Hall-Scott.

"These guys are high-energy and are able to create a festive atmosphere appropriate for all ages. Come dressed as a ghostbuster or one of the characters from the movie. We'll be giving out a prize for the best costume. Also, we'll have a photographer on-site to capture moments from the evening."

Anyone interested should meet about 6:45 p.m. at the wooden deck across from the Wink Theatre on West Crawford Street in historic downtown Dalton. Tickets are $12 for ages 12 and older, $10 for children ages 6 to 11. Reservations are not required.
