A reptile and exotic-animal show with thousands of high-quality animals not found anywhere else in the area will fill Camp Jordan Arena this weekend when Repticon comes to town.

Repticon will be held in Camp Jordan Arena, 323 Camp Jordan Parkway, on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 12-13. Saturday's hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday's are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to viewing the variety of exotic reptiles, the show offers live animal presentations and free raffles. Informative workshops are scheduled on the hour both days. About 30 vendors will exhibit supplies, cages, merchandise and feeders to support new pets.

Three ticket options are offered:

* VIP online purchase, good both days: $12 adult, $5 ages 5-12, includes early entry at 9 a.m. Saturday only.

* Two-day ticket at the door: $15 adults, $5 children 5-12.

* One-day ticket available only at door: $10adults, $5 children 5-12.
