Chattanooga Market gets patriotic with Red, White and Blueberries

Chattanooga Market celebrates the Fourth of July weekend with Red, White and Blueberries on Sunday, July 2, in First Tennessee Pavilion, 1829 Carter St., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitors can enter one of the blueberry pie-eating contests at noon or 1 p.m. featuring freshly baked pies made by the Culinard Institute of Virginia College.

Sign up at the Market Information Desk a half-hour before either contest.

Five Chattanooga Market vendors will compete in a pie-eating contest at 3 p.m.

Nashville singer-songwriter Rachel Solomon and local singer Courtney Holder will perform during the afternoon.
