Annual Strides of March AIDS Walk gets new route, new look

The 22nd annual Strides of March AIDS Walk will be held Saturday, March 25, to raise funds and awareness for Chattanooga CARES, the HIV/AIDS resource center for 23 counties. The walk will take a new route along Blue Goose Hollow Trailhead on the Chattanooga Riverwalk near Alstom.

The walk will take a new route along Blue Goose Hollow Trailhead on the Chattanooga Riverwalk near Alstom.

Participants should meet at 6 p.m. at the Blue Goose Hollow Trailhead, where West M.L. King Boulevard intersects Riverfront Parkway.

There will be live music by Nick Lutsko & the Gimmix, beer, food vendors and activities before walkers will illuminate red lanterns and walk toward Ross's Landing and back by 8 p.m.
