St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is hosting open houses at the 2017 St. Jude Dream Home every weekend now through June 18. The home will be open for free tours each Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
The dream home, valued at $650,000 and built by G.T. Issa Construction, is located at 5938 Eaglemont Drive in Eagle Bluff Woods subdivision. The 5,900-square-foot home features four bedrooms, three full baths, two half baths, a spacious lanai with fireplace and wraparound front porch with panoramic views.
The dream home has become one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital nationwide. Tickets were sold for $100 each for the chance to win the house or other prizes.
Avery Jordan, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital regional development representative, confirms that tickets have sold out. However, the public is still welcome to tour the showhouse to view its design ideas.
Also, for every Sunday visitor to the house who test drives a BMW, a donation to St. Jude will be made by BMW of Chattanooga.
BMW of Chattanooga has partnered with the Chattanooga St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway to raise $10,000 to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All that's required is that the visitor go to BMWofChattanooga StJudeDreamDrive.com and register to take a test drive any Sunday during an open house.
